Delta Hotels by Marriott | York If you are engaged to be married, then Delta Hotels by Marriott is the place to be on Sunday 1st September 2024 as the venue provides the setting for one of York’s most popular free wedding fayres.

Over 30 top wedding suppliers will be in attendance to help you plan your special day.

The event starts at 11.30am with visitors invited to chat to all of our vendors and the hotel’s staff until 2.30pm.

The hotel, formerly known as York Marriott, is a beautiful setting for both Civil Ceremonies and Wedding Receptions with landscaped gardens overlooking York Racecourse providing a magnificent backdrop for your photographs.

If you are only just beginning your wedding planning and have never been to a wedding fayre, then this show would definitely be a good place to start.

It’s a common misconception, that visitors to the event must want to get married at the venue in order to attend, but that simply isn’t the case at all.

Everyone of our suppliers exhibiting at York Marriott will be only to happy to part of your big day wherever you are tieing the knot.

Admission to the show is free of charge but we do encourage all visitors to pre-book e-tickets to facilitate a quicker entry.

The Grand, York is a stunning hotel wedding venue in the heart of city set against the backdrop of Edwardian architecture and impressive original features.

Couples who choose to celebrate their nuptials here can expect luxurious surroundings, exceptional service, and dedicated staff with an eye for detail.

Visitors are certain to be visually impressed by the venue from the moment they step inside the elegant reception area.

The Grand offers multiple event spaces for couples to choose from, depending on the size of their celebration and personal style.

The Grand Boardroom lives up to its name; the grandeur of the room is decorated with chandeliers and a magnificent original fireplace. A vast, majestic room with floor to ceiling wood paneling, huge windows, and an original parquet floor, coupled with amazing views overlooking York Minster and the City Walls.

Another visually striking space is The Chairman’s Suite, which was the original office of the Chair of the North Eastern Railway. The room is designed to impress and maintains its majestic history with wood clad pillars, an ornate fireplace and more breathtaking views of the City Wall.

On Sunday 8th December 2024, you are invited to see it all in person as The Elite Collection comes to the Grand for an unrivalled wedding showcase featuring many of York’s finest wedding suppliers between 11am – 2pm.

On Sunday 7th July, engaged couples can see this wonderful setting for themselves as well as over 35 top wedding suppliers at a free wedding fayre organised by The UK Wedding Event.

One of our amazing exhibitors is offering brides-to-be the chance to get a dress for less on the day!

The massive sale is being put on by Belles and Bows Bridal, who will have changing rooms on site so you try on and take home the wedding gown of your dreams.

All guests attending the show will be welcomed with a sparkling reception and a goody bag to set the tone for what we hope will be an enlightening day.

Admission to the show is FREE, but we recommend pre-booking e-tickets to ensure a quicker entry.

Plus, all attendees will be entered into a prize draw to win a wedding dress worth a £1000 later in the year.

The UK Wedding Event is heading back to the Centenary Pavilion for our Big Leeds Wedding Show on Sunday 22nd September 2024.

The venue, located across the road from Leeds United’s Elland Road, is an amazing purpose built event and conference space with a starlit ceiling that is certain to wow every visitor who passes through the door.

Once inside the Centenary Pavilion, couples will be treated to the best the wedding industry has to offer with 90 exhibitors taking part in this unmissable show.

Two fabulous catwalks will give you plenty of food for thought as you plan your own big day with a number of leading bridal and menswear retailers showcasing their ranges.

The show itself is set to start at 11am ahead of a 3pm finish.
