The Milner York is an iconic North Yorkshire venue situated just a stone’s throw away from the city’s train station.

The hotel, which was known as Principal York until recently, offers stunning Victorian architecture, three acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, and views out to the York Minster.

The Big York Racecourse Wedding Show

The UK Wedding Event returns to York Racecourse on Sunday 19th October 2025 for another amazing large show at this amazing venue.

Over 1200 visitors joined us for this event at the same time last year and another bumper turnout is expected this time too.

York Racecourse as a venue needs no introduction, offering ample free parking on site and the ability to house more than a 100 top class exhibitors to help you plan your wedding.

Book in advance for fast track admission and to save money on the best time slots available for this unmissable one day event.

If you opt to wait until the day, all tickets ordered in person will be priced up to £7 each.

Please also note that you can stay at the event for as long as you want to. The ticket time slots are just a window for your arrival.

As ever, our big York Racecourse wedding event will feature two amazing catwalk shows as well as live music and entertainment.

The Grand, York is a stunning hotel wedding venue in the heart of city set against the backdrop of Edwardian architecture and impressive original features.

Couples who choose to celebrate their nuptials here can expect luxurious surroundings, exceptional service, and dedicated staff with an eye for detail.

Visitors are certain to be visually impressed by the venue from the moment they step inside the elegant reception area.

The Grand offers multiple event spaces for couples to choose from, depending on the size of their celebration and personal style.

The Grand Boardroom lives up to its name; the grandeur of the room is decorated with chandeliers and a magnificent original fireplace. A vast, majestic room with floor to ceiling wood paneling, huge windows, and an original parquet floor, coupled with amazing views overlooking York Minster and the City Walls.

Another visually striking space is The Chairman’s Suite, which was the original office of the Chair of the North Eastern Railway. The room is designed to impress and maintains its majestic history with wood clad pillars, an ornate fireplace and more breathtaking views of the City Wall.

On Sunday 6th April 2025, you are invited to see it all in person as The Elite Collection comes to the Grand for an unrivalled wedding showcase featuring many of York’s finest wedding suppliers between 11am – 2pm.
