North Yorkshire’s Biggest Wedding Show
The UK Wedding Event returns to York Racecourse on Sunday 13th March for our first big show of 2022!
It was so good to be back there in October after being unable to host large scale events during the pandemic and a fabulous day was had by all.
York Racecourse as a venue needs no introduction, offering ample free parking on site and the ability to house more than a 100 top class exhibitors to help you plan your wedding.
Book in advance for fast track admission and to save money on the best time slots available for this unmissable one day event.
**BREAKING NEWS – We have just been offered an amazing prize for this Sunday’s big show in York. How would you like to win a wedding dress on the day?
Bridal Apparel Leeds has very generously offered up a fantastic giveaway for one lucky bride.
Susan and her team will happily supply a free wedding dress worth up to £500 or the winner may wish to use that money to go towards the value of the gown of their dreams!
To enter simply pre-book for admission tickets with the option to enter our prize draw or alternatively buy a raffle ticket in person on the day of the show itself.
The winner will be announced after the second catwalk finishes at 2pm.
If you opt to wait until the day, all tickets ordered in person will be priced up to £7 each.
As ever our show in March will feature two amazing catwalk shows created by the hugely talented Kris Wright and his Kulture Projects team as well as live music and entertainment.
Face masks are no longer a legal requirement in the UK, but in the interest of safety, you may want to wear them at times inside the exhibition space.
Hand sanitiser will be readily available throughout the Knavesmire building at York Racecourse.

The UK Wedding Event | York Marriott Hotel | Sunday 19th September 2021
If you are engaged to be married, then York Marriott Hotel is the place to be on Sunday 19th September as the venue provides the setting for one of York’s most popular free wedding fayres.
Over 30 top wedding suppliers will be in attendance to help you plan your special day.
The event starts at 11.30am with visitors invited to chat to all of our vendors and the hotel’s staff until 2.30pm.
York Marriott is a beautiful setting for both Civil Ceremonies and Wedding Receptions with landscaped gardens overlooking York Racecourse providing a magnificent backdrop for your photographs.
If you are only just beginning your wedding planning and have never been to a wedding fayre, then this show would definitely be a good place to start.
It’s a common misconception, that visitors to the event must want to get married at the venue in order to attend, but that simply isn’t the case at all.
Everyone of our suppliers exhibiting at York Marriott will be only to happy to part of your big day wherever you are tieing the knot.
Admission to the show is free of charge but we do ask all visitors to pre-book e-tickets to assist with track and trace obligations and to facilitate quicker entry.
It is no longer a legal requirement to wear face masks in public, but you are welcome to use them for your own safety and protection.

The UK Wedding Event is back with a bang at York Racecourse on Sunday 17th October 2021 for our first big show in two years!
The pandemic has made organising large scale events challenging and affected the wedding plans of thousands of brides, but now restrictions have eased we are determined to make up for lost time and give you a day to remember.
Book in advance for fast track admission and to save money on the best time slots available as we welcome around 100 of Yorkshire’s finest wedding suppliers.
If you opt to wait until the day, all tickets ordered in person will be priced up to £7 each.
We are thrilled to confirm that the event will feature two amazing catwalk shows as usual created by the hugely talented Kris Wright and his Kulture Projects team.
Face masks are no longer a legal requirement in the UK, but in the interest of safety, you may want to wear them at times inside the exhibition space.
We are also asking ALL visitors to try and keep to their designated time slots and to supply a contact number strictly for the purpose of track and trace in the ongoing fight against COVID-19.
