It is with a heavy heart that we must announce the postponement of our latest big wedding show at York Racecourse.
In response to rising cases of coronavirus, the government are now preventing mass gatherings from taking place at this time.
As a result of these restrictions, we have no option but call off the event scheduled to take place on Sunday 29th November.
We would like to issue an update in relation to The UK Wedding Event at York Racecourse on Sunday 29th March.
At the current time our big show is set to go ahead despite the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. However, government restrictions could yet force us to postpone.
The UK Wedding Event is planning to return to York Racecourse on Sunday 18th October 2020 for another huge Wedding Show.
Admission to this popular York event is strictly ticket only and with restricted numbers to comply with the latest guidelines in the ongoing fight against COVID-19.
Visitors will ALL be allocated a designated time-slot to attend the show and you will be expected to bring a face covering to use during your time with us unless restrictions are eased.
The current climate does inevitably offer up some challenges which will mean several aspects of the event will be slightly different to normal but we are convinced it won’t detract too much from your experience.
In order to adhere to social distancing regulations, we will have fewer exhibitors than usual taking part this year and each one of these suppliers will be spaced out in a one-way system following a new COVID-safe floor plan for the event.
To comply with current government guidelines as part of the track and trace programme for coronavirus provision of a contact number is mandatory when booking e-tickets, while hand sanitiser will be readily available throughout the exhibition.

(Updated 18/03/2020) – It is with great regret that we must announce the postponement of The UK Wedding Event at York Racecourse on Sunday 29th March 2020 in light of the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak.
We have tried everything within our power to keep the event on, but following consultation with all relevant stakeholders and acting in accordance with the latest government advice, the decision has been taken to make this difficult call.
The health and well-being of all of our visitors and exhibitors is always at the forefront of our minds at all times and we hope you will understand our reasoning.
Anyone who has pre-booked to attend the show will be welcome to use their e-tickets to attend our return visit to York Racecourse later in the year on Sunday 18th October.

The show in October will again feature over 100 exhibitors and in light of this postponement has the potential to have more suppliers than ever before!
