About The Show & Venue

The Principal York Hotel is an iconic North Yorkshire venue situated just a stone’s throw away from the city’s train station.

The hotel offers stunning Victorian architecture, three acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, and views out to the York Minster.

Put that all together and you have the perfect setting for your wedding day.

Engaged couples have been tying the knot at Principal York for generations and it isn’t hard to see why.

This four star hotel can cater for weddings of all sizes boasting an array of beautiful spaces including banqueting rooms licensed for your civil ceremony, an outdoor terrace for a Champagne reception and private dining rooms that seat from 30 to 250 guests.

The Big Leeds Wedding Show

The UK Wedding Event is heading back to the Centenary Pavilion for our Big Leeds Wedding Show on Sunday 22nd September 2024.

The venue, located across the road from Leeds United’s Elland Road, is an amazing purpose built event and conference space with a starlit ceiling that is certain to wow every visitor who passes through the door.

Once inside the Centenary Pavilion, couples will be treated to the best the wedding industry has to offer with 90 exhibitors taking part in this unmissable show.

Two fabulous catwalks will give you plenty of food for thought as you plan your own big day with a number of leading bridal and menswear retailers showcasing their ranges.

The show itself is set to start at 11am ahead of a 3pm finish.

Have you dreamt of a fairytale Wedding in a Castle to your knight in shining armour?

If you have then I suspect our next scheduled wedding fayre at Allerton Castle in North Yorkshire on Sunday 29th September 2024 could be the show for you!

The venue itself is a magical location where you can bring your friends and relatives together in the stunning setting of a Gothic revival stately home to celebrate your special day.

From the picturesque backdrop of the beautiful gardens, to the opulent staircase in the Great Hall, this enchanting castle is a dreamy setting for a couple to tie the knot.

Keep it simple with an intimate gathering or take advantage of the grounds and facilities for a larger wedding.

As ever we will have the best wedding suppliers around in attendance with over 35 booked in to help you plan your big day whether it is at the Castle itself or somewhere else.

Admission on the day is free but we do ask all visitors to pre-book their tickets in advance to assist with planning.

It’s easy to get swept up in the romance of Oulton Hall. With its grand interiors, sweeping staircases and photogenic grounds, the scene is perfectly set for a magnificent wedding.

This magnificent four-star hotel on the outskirts of Leeds is setup for you to hold your entire celebration. From the civil ceremony to the wedding breakfast to the evening reception.

Choose from three unique spaces for your big day. The elegant Repton Room is ideal for intimate celebrations, while the Upper Claret Jug has a spectacular view of the golf course and can hold up to 100 guests.

For large weddings for up to 220 people, the impressive Oulton Suite ticks all the boxes, boasting a private bar and dancefloor to party the night away.

The venue also offers some amazing outdoor spaces making for the perfect backdrop in front of the Great Hall for some beautiful wedding imagery.

North Yorkshire’s Biggest Wedding Show

The UK Wedding Event returns to York Racecourse on Sunday 20th October for another amazing large show at this amazing venue.

The Big York Racecourse Wedding Show

Over 1200 visitors joined us at our last event here in October and another bumper turnout is expected this time too.

York Racecourse as a venue needs no introduction, offering ample free parking on site and the ability to house more than a 100 top class exhibitors to help you plan your wedding.

Book in advance for fast track admission and to save money on the best time slots available for this unmissable one day event.

If you opt to wait until the day, all tickets ordered in person will be priced up to £7 each.

Please also note that you can stay at the event for as long as you want to. The ticket time slots are just a window for your arrival.

As ever our big York Racecourse wedding event will feature two amazing catwalk shows as well as live music and entertainment.
