The Yorkshire Wedding Awards is returning in 2026 and we want you to join us!
Be part of an exciting celebration of excellence in the wedding industry next November!
You asked us to organise an award ceremony like this, and we were thrilled to finally deliver it in November 2025 with an unforgettable evening at the prestigious Queens Hotel in Leeds.
But we’re not stopped there though – plans are already taking shape for an even bigger night next year, as we recognise the dedicated professionals who go above and beyond to make every couple’s wedding day unforgettable.
From florists to photographers, the wedding sector is made up of countless passionate individuals and businesses committed to delivering exceptional experiences and value for their clients.
And we believe that everyone deserves a night to relax and celebrate!
Once again, it is our intention to host The Yorkshire Wedding Awards at the end of November in 2026, with final details on the exact location and date to be confirmed shortly following the success of our inaugural awards ceremony this year.
The occasion a perfect opportunity to honour the outstanding talent in our industry while also kicking off the festive season with a night of fun, laughter, and well-deserved drinks.

We recognise all aspects of the wedding industry in a unique way that sets us apart from others.
(i). No Judging Panel:
There is no judging panel or any individuals associated with The UK Wedding Event involved in determining the winners.
(ii). Automated Voting Process:
The voting system is a simple three-step automated process:
Step 1: Nomination
As a business, you will nominate yourself for consideration in your chosen category.
Step 2: Voting by Couples
Once the nomination period closes, you will have the opportunity to invite your engaged couples (who have used your services in the past 12 months) to vote for you.

- Important: Each couple can only vote once for you in the same category.
- Voters will be presented with five scalable questions, each rated between 1 and 10. They can assign the 10 mark only twice, so it’s essential to consider carefully where to allocate their highest scores, as all questions are graded.
- An additional comment box is included, allowing couples to share remarks about why your service was impressive – useful in the event of a tie-breaker.
Step 3: Winner Reveal
The winners will be determined based on an average score derived from the votes received. It doesn’t matter whether you receive 30 votes or 100; however, a minimum number of responses will be required for eligibility.
- All award recipients will be announced at the ceremony at the end of November 2026 – exact date to be confirmed.
