About The Show & Venue

The UK Wedding Event experience returns to Hilton York Hotel on Sunday 30th June 2019 for another wedding fayre at this popular York city centre location.

Not only will couples be able to see first hand a truly wonderful venue, they will also get the chance to explore the services of over 25 diverse wedding suppliers.

A sparkling reception will kick-off the day for all visitors when doors open from 11am ahead of a 2.30pm finish.

Admission is free, but brides are encouraged to pre-book for tickets as you will automatically be entered into our prize draw.

Set in the heart of the charming historic city of York, this contemporary venue could be the perfect setting for your special day, catering for between 10 and 200 guests in its versatile space.

The hotel’s City of York Suite has a private conservatory bar area with an adjoining terrace outside which is ideal for a drinks and canapé reception. The bar offers a bright and airy setting for guests to relax and socialise.

Hotel du Vin York is a beautiful Grade II listed building that dates back to the early 19th century, located in The Mount, a tranquil area close to the city centre.

Formerly a private home and an orphanage, the hotel houses forty four stylish bedrooms and suites, a trademark bistro, bar and private dining rooms, along with an outdoor terrace and open top
courtyard.

On Sunday 29th September, this wonderful venue will be throwing open their doors from 11am to the public for an intimate wedding fayre not to be missed featuring over 25 top wedding suppliers.

East Yorkshire’s Biggest Wedding Show

Following the success of our big wedding events at York Racecourse and Elland Road, The UK Wedding Event is thrilled to be bringing the large scale wedding show experience to The DoubleTree by Hilton in Hull on Sunday 1st September.

Book in advance for fast track admission to an extremely busy show featuring 60 exhibitors and to save money.

Our professional modelling team will also be in attendance showcasing the best in wedding fashion in Two Catwalk Shows scheduled for 11.30am and 1.30pm along with unmissable entertainment from The Undercover Waiters.

For a limited time, tickets ordered through our website will be free although the fee will increase closer to the show date.

If you opt to wait until the day, all tickets ordered in person will be priced at £2.50 each.

The DoubleTree by Hilton is Hull’s newest and most impressive venues, suitable for the most intimate of gatherings to the grandest of celebrations.

Visitors shouldn’t have any trouble parking with several reasonably priced car park situated nearby this city centre setting.

About The Show & Venue

The UK Wedding Event experience returns to DoubleTree by Hilton in York for our first wedding fayre of 2022 on Sunday 30th January.

Around 30 top wedding suppliers will be in attendance to help you plan your special day.

All visitors will be greeted by a drinks reception and a free gift bag will be given to the bride.

DoubleTree by Hilton is a wonderful city centre setting, able to cater for both intimate family affairs and large weddings.

The venue’s Dales Suite is licensed for ceremonies and every package they offer includes pillars and candles to create a magnificent aisle for you to walk down.

The hotel can also supply flowers for the ceremony table and chair covers with sashes to coordinate with your colour scheme.

Feel free to arrange a consultation with their hotel’s wedding co-coordinator, who will be only to happy to show your around the facilities on offer when you attend our wedding fayre on 30th January.
