About The Show & Venue

The UK Wedding Event experience returns to DoubleTree by Hilton in York for our first wedding fayre of 2022 on Sunday 30th January.

Around 25 top wedding suppliers will be in attendance to help you plan your special day.

All visitors will be greeted by a drinks reception and a free gift bag will be given to the bride.

DoubleTree by Hilton is a wonderful city centre setting, able to cater for both intimate family affairs and large weddings.

The venue’s Dales Suite is licensed for ceremonies and every package they offer includes pillars and candles to create a magnificent aisle for you to walk down.

Feel free to arrange a consultation with their hotel’s wedding co-coordinator, who will be only to happy to show your around the facilities on offer when you attend our wedding fayre.

We are also offering brides the chance to get their hands on beautiful designer wedding dresses at a fraction of the usual retail price.

Weddings @ York Mariott HotelIf you are engaged to be married, then York Marriott Hotel is the place to be on Sunday 18th September as the venue provides the setting for one of York’s most popular free wedding fayres.

Over 30 top wedding suppliers will be in attendance to help you plan your special day.

The event starts at 11.30am with visitors invited to chat to all of our vendors and the hotel’s staff until 2.30pm.

Delta Hotels by York Marriott, as it is now known, is a beautiful setting for both Civil Ceremonies and Wedding Receptions with landscaped gardens overlooking York Racecourse providing a magnificent backdrop for your photographs.

If you are only just beginning your wedding planning and have never been to a wedding fayre, then this show would definitely be a good place to start.

It’s a common misconception, that visitors to the event must want to get married at the venue in order to attend, but that simply isn’t the case at all.

Everyone of our suppliers exhibiting at York Marriott will be only to happy to part of your big day wherever you are tieing the knot.

Admission to the show is free of charge but we do ask all visitors to pre-book e-tickets to assist with track and trace obligations and to facilitate quicker entry.

It is no longer a legal requirement to wear face masks in public, but you are welcome to use them for your own safety and protection.

About The Show & Venue

The UK Wedding Event experience returns to Hilton York Hotel on Sunday 20th February 2022 for another wedding fayre at this popular York city centre location.

Not only will couples be able to see first hand a truly wonderful venue, they will also get the chance to explore the services of over 25 diverse wedding suppliers.

A sparkling reception will kick-off the day for all visitors when doors open from 11am ahead of a 2pm finish.

Admission is free, but brides are encouraged to pre-book for tickets as you will automatically be entered into our prize draw.

You are also advised to leave a contact number to assist with track and trace in the current climate.

Set in the heart of the charming historic city of York, this contemporary venue could be the perfect setting for your special day, catering for between 10 and 200 guests in its versatile space.

The hotel’s City of York Suite has a private conservatory bar area with an adjoining terrace outside which is ideal for a drinks and canapé reception. The bar offers a bright and airy setting for guests to relax and socialise.

The Big Headingley Stadium Wedding Show

The UK Wedding Event is coming to Headingley Stadium for the first time on Sunday 17th July 2022.

Please note the show was originally planned for May 2022 but we have had to change the date due to a clash with the Leeds half marathon.

This huge West Yorkshire wedding show is scheduled to start at 11am featuring around 60 exhibitors and two top catwalk shows.

The Ultimate Leeds Wedding Planning Experience @ New Dock Hall

 

The UK Wedding Event is heading back to Leeds for our Big West Yorkshire Wedding Show at the Royal Armouries’ New Dock on Sunday 20th November 2022.

The venue is an amazing purpose built event and conference space with starlit walls and ceiling that is certain to wow every visitor who passes through the door.

Once inside New Dock Hall, couples will be treated to the best the wedding industry has to offer with over 90 exhibitors taking part in this unmissable show.
